My Story
I am a highly motivated, dedicated creative, with a career portfolio of corporate, brand-based projects, whose success has been attributed to excellent creative conception, project management, communications, social networking, and technical skills.
I have a passion for creative development, team building, progressive technology implementation, and continuous learning. I manifest a reliable work ethic and a strong capability to manage multiple projects.
I have worked my whole career in variety of design, art direction, photography, and production areas. I started my career Atlanta, Georgia as a junior executive designing catalogs for Macy's South. I did catalogs from the pick-up meetings, photography art direction to the final color correction of merchandise of our catalogs. The most fun was doing the photo shoots and getting the merchandise to "tell a story".
As Macy's South merged with Macy's North, I moved my family to Orlando, FL where I was hired to do the Tupperware Brand Catalogs. Again, the catalog process was a chain of meetings through final production. I worked with stylists and photographers to product a full-line catalog that invited sales.
My next adventure was getting hired by Disney where I spent the next eight years. I was a Print Manager and I moved into the role of Associate Art Director. I was involved with the production of the collateral that the WDW guests see when they are in the theme parks, from maps, menus, and room collateral. This experience at Disney was invaluable in many aspects of my experience.
I have since been in the Education field, designing marketing for our national sales force. Moving the marketing vision into the digital arena has been the most rewarding.
I find that continuing to grow and learn is the most exciting aspect of my career. I feel that I can tackle any creative obstacle that comes my way..and with ease!
